Friemdly guy on reception called max. Excellent location, nearby restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Room and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard. Room had everything you needed. Quiet, no outside noise heard. Good value for money. Simple but ok breakfast.
Great location. Rooms are nice enough, nothing fancy but does the job. Friendly staff. Easy to leave luggage. Breakfast was just ok - selection was fine but some things not the best quality
Very friendly staff, especially the Italian young lady called Irene. Very clean. Bigger rooms than I expected with comfy furniture. The TVs had mirror cast function and I watched a Netflix film on TV via my smartphone. The breakfasts are basic and what is standard for all Holiday Inn Express hotels. It would be better if there were more vegan options available.
Stayed overnight here for a business trip. Very handy as it's a 5-10min walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station. Friendly reception staff, nice spacious 4th floor room with a comfy bed. Breakfast was fine, reasonable choice and good bacon, all the standard fare but not a vast choice of things though.
Pretty basic, no restaurant for evening meals, but breakfast was more than adequate with friendly staff. Food was refreshed quickly when it run out. Rooms are neat tidy and shower was good. Television has the usual channels and a good signal. Bit noisy at 5 in the morning as you're by a busy street. Had to put a towel across for to keep it light from corridor although light was in a sensor, people walking by quite regularly turned it on
We spent two nights here during our trip to Glasgow and Edinburgh, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional, the hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. While the rooms are a bit compact, they’re incredibly comfortable and so thoughtfully designed that it didn’t matter at all. What really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. I had requested a small birthday surprise for my wife, and they went above and beyond to make it special. The effort and care they put into it meant so much to us, it turned a great stay into a truly memorable one. This is without a doubt one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We’re so grateful for the hospitality, and we’d recommend this hotel 100% to anyone visiting the area.
Great hotel we use it regularly. Anyone saying it’s not clean are so far out it’s unbelievable. And if you think the breakfast lacks variety I’d love to know what you want smoked salmon and caviar possibly? Book with absolute confidence and enjoy the hospitality and Glasgow.
We had a wonderful time in Holiday Inn Express Glasgow City Center Theatreland! Location was in the city centre. very close to the Buchanan Bus Station, Buchanan walking street and Queen Street Station. All staffs were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent! Laura from the reception indeed supported us the whole time! Thank you HIE for the wonderful time!
